What to see at National Struggle Museum
- Block A shows documents, weapons, paintings, clothing and photographs of the Turkish Cypriot national struggle from 1878.
- The garden has armoured vehicles and a cannon used by the Turkish Resistance Organisation (TMT) from 1963 to 1974, and statues including Atatürk.
- Block B follows the story from the island's geology to the founding of the TRNC.

- Renewed under the patronage of the TRNC Presidency, with help from Ankara's Etimesgut Municipality, it reopens on 15 November as the Turkish Cypriot History, Culture and National Struggle Museum.
Visiting National Struggle Museum
Allow about half an hour. The museum is on the Barbaro bastion (Musalla, now Barbar) of the Lefkoşa walls, just east of Kyrenia Gate (Girne Kapısı). A car park is mapped about 50 m away, and the Girne Kapısı bus stop is about 100 m away.
