What to see at Taşkent Martyrs' Memorial and Museum
- The memorial holds the graves of 68 Turkish Cypriots from the villages of Taşkent, Terazi and Tatlısu, killed in 1963–64 and 1974.
- Four martyrs who have not been found have symbolic graves here.
- The museum beside it shows photographs and personal belongings of the martyrs, and pictures of their funerals.

- 2014
- The memorial is completed on 15 August and burials begin. The museum opens the same year with the support of the Turkish Embassy in Lefkoşa and the families.
- 2016
- A second burial on 15 August brings the total to 68, and the museum is extended.
Visiting Taşkent Martyrs' Memorial and Museum
Allow about half an hour. The memorial is in Taşkent village, in the Girne district. The GR.35 road (Şehit Savaş Kaşif Caddesi) passes about 200 m away. No car park or bus stop is mapped nearby.
